This painting, coming in at 40″ x 30″, is the largest canvas I have tackled in my short career of painting. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the larger size. As a very frugal paint user, it did make me use more paint… but as a detail person, it was much easier to get the detail in. I did tell my husband, if I continue using lager canvases, I will definitely need a bigger studio OR I will have to learn the fine art of selling.
