Color Temperature

I have been learning a lot about color temperature and desaturating colors. There are cool yellows and warm blues, there are cool and warm shades of every color and knowing when and how to use them is still a lesson I am learning. I painted this image of our lab to try this out, one side of her face is warm and the other side is cool. Colors outside of the light aren’t just cool, but they are less vibrant, so learning that also. So much to learn.
